Brady in concert at The Merc
Local pianist Michael Brady will present “Readings from the Book of Chopin” in a free concert at The Merc Playhouse in Twisp on Jan. 3 at 2:30 p.m.
Brady will perform a nocturne and two scherzos by Chopin, Ravel’s Jeux d’Eau, and Prokofiev’s fourth piano sonata. Between the pieces he will share some thoughts on – and poke fun at — a variety of musical topics from the naïve perspective of someone who never formally studied music.
