Calendar
Dec. 4: Blood pressure checks
Dec. 22: Christmas party
Notes
There will be no dance in the month of December.
Get your blood pressure checked on Thursday (Dec. 4) before lunch.
The Christmas party is on Dec. 22. Bring a small present for the gift exchange.
The Thrift Shop is open Monday, Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. , and will be open for a Christmas Sale on Saturday (Dec. 6).
With the Christmas Sale going full swing, we are running low on paper grocery bags. If you can spare some, it would be greatly appreciated.
We are now closed on Saturdays until next April. We greatly appreciate your donations of “gently used” clothing and household items. The money your donations bring in allows us to pay building expenses and maintain the Senior Center.
The bus will be going to Omak on Tuesday (Dec. 9) and to Wenatchee on Dec. 16.
The Senior Center is located next to the Methow Valley Community Center on Highway 20 in Twisp. Lunch is served at noon by the Okanogan County Transportation and Nutrition Program on Monday, Thursday and Friday. The suggested donation for lunch is $3.25 for seniors over age 60; the cost is $8 for those under 60. For more information, call 997-7722.
Transportation is available locally for the senior lunch program, and for monthly trips to Omak/Okanogan the second Tuesday of the month and to Wenatchee the third Tuesday of the month. Call the Senior Center at 997-7722 for additional details.
