Methow Recycles considers offering building materials for reuse

December 4, 2014 by Methow Valley News

Interested in reusing building materials? Methow Recycles wants to know.

Methow Recycles is soliciting opinions on the potential for a service that would allow people to reuse building materials.

The service would allow people to donate reusable building materials to a reuse center, where the materials would be sold at a low price.

Materials could include lumber, windows and doors, furniture, bathroom fixtures or fencing. Methow Recycles also wants to know how often people think they would donate materials or seek to buy them.

Methow Recycles is currently polling the community to gauge the interest in such a service. People can complete an online survey at bit.ly/MethowReuse. Call 997-0520 for more information.
