
Gary Lee Costello went to be with the Lord on Nov. 26, 2014. He was born in Phoenix, Arizona, on Nov. 25,1946, and raised in Lakewood, California. He met his wife, Betty Costello, in Long Beach, California. They married in Las Vegas, Nevada and moved to Twisp together in the early 1970s.
Gary was a wonderful father to Sommer Flores and Cory Costello and had a special place in his heart for all of his grandchildren. He also had a love for his dog Boomer, whom he called “his little buddy.” Gary was a Harley man at heart and enjoyed riding with his friends throughout the beautiful Methow Valley. He was a carpenter by trade and retired in 2009. Gary was an artist and enjoyed drawing, painting and woodworking.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Betty Costello, his parents Bud and Ruth Costello, and his older brother Carl Costello.
Gary is survived by his children Sommer and Danny Flores, and Cory Costello, his sister Velvet Bower, Jack, Michael and Amy Bower, Frank Costello, Tara McMahon, and his grandchildren Mariah, Zachary and Tristan Flores, Tylor, Travis and Tannor Costello, and Ada McMahon.
