Hearing on ATV lawsuit rescheduled for November

October 31, 2014 by Methow Valley News

The hearing on the lawsuit filed by the Methow Valley Citizens’ Council (MVCC) and Conservation Northwest challenging the adequacy of Okanogan County’s analysis of the environmental impacts of allowing all-terrain vehicles on county roads has been rescheduled.

The case will be heard by Okanogan County Superior Court Judge Henry Rawson on Nov. 17 at 3:30 p.m. It had previously been scheduled for Thursday (Oct. 30) before Superior Court Judge Christopher Culp, but was changed when Culp recused himself, according to a spokesperson for MVCC. No further details were available at press time.
