THURSDAY, OCT. 16: Chicken-fried steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, glazed carrots, tomato and cucumber salad, apricots, whole wheat bread, Jell-O with topping.
FRIDAY, OCT. 17: Orange-glazed chicken, au gratin potatoes, green beans, creamy coleslaw, pineapple, whole wheat roll, pudding.
MONDAY, OCT. 20: Sloppy joe sandwich, green beans, coleslaw, peaches, ice cream.
THURSDAY, OCT. 23: Chicken cordon bleu, parsley potatoes, trio vegetables, tossed green salad, whole wheat roll, berry crisp.
FRIDAY, OCT. 24: Beef roast, mashed potatoes and gravy, peas and carrots, green salad, pears, raisin bread pudding.

Our annual Halloween Sale is still on. You’ll find lots of costumes and decorations at reasonable prices.
If you are a veteran, please mark your calendar for a special luncheon for you and a guest on Nov. 11 at 11 a.m. at the Methow Valley Community Center. It is sponsored by the Senior Center volunteers in your honor as a “thank you.”
The Rummage Room is open Monday, Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., and Saturday through October from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. We greatly appreciate your donations of “gently used” clothing and household items. The money your donations bring in allows us to pay building expenses and maintain the Senior Center.
The senior center is located next to the Methow Valley Community Center on Highway 20 in Twisp. Lunch is served at noon by the Okanogan County Transportation and Nutrition Program on Monday, Thursday and Friday. The suggested donation for lunch is $3.25 for seniors over age 60; the cost is $8 for those under 60. For more information, call 997-7722.
