To expand your sartorial options for Halloween, the Okanogan Valley Orchestra and Chorus (OVOC) rents costumes collected over decades of musical theater. The costume shop is at The Courtyard in downtown Omak and will be open Wednesday through Friday, Oct. 29 to 31, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. People can also make an appointment for an earlier date.
OVOC has thousands of costumes, both from musicals and those specifically made for Halloween. There are costumes for children, adults and even babies. Rental fees range from $10 to $75 (for more elaborate outfits) and include the cleaning fee. All proceeds benefit OVOC.
