Twisp seeks applicants for town council vacancy

October 2, 2014 by Methow Valley News

The Town of Twisp is accepting applications from residents who are interested in filling a vacancy on the Twisp Town Council.

Residents may submit a letter of interest or fill out an application, available on the town website.

The council will appoint a new council member to fill the remainder of Clint Estes’ term, which runs through Dec. 31, 2017, said Clerk Jackie Moriarity. Estes resigned from the board in July.

The appointed council member would need to run for election in the next general election — November 2015 – to continue in the position.

Information about applying is available on the town website, www.townoftwisp.com, or by calling Town Hall, 997-4081.
