Three members of the Moccasin Lake Equestrian Team, coached by Annie and Tulie Budiselich, made a fine showing with first-, second- and ninth-place finishes at the Back-to-Back One Day Events held at the Whidbey Island Pony Club on Sept. 13-14.

Competing were Tulie Budiselich, 19, of Twisp, on her 11-year-old Thoroughbred gelding, Forest; Mazama’s Cassidy Butler, 15, aboard Cooper, her 7-year-old Thoroughbred; and Willa Hilton, 13, of Winthrop, on Finesse, an 18-year-old quarter horse/Morgan cross owned by Methow Valley Riding Unlimited.

The Moccasin Lake Team, including additional members, is headed to the Washington State Horse Park Saturday and Sunday (Sept. 27 – 28) for the EI Back-to-Back One Day Horse Trials.
