The chambers of commerce for Winthrop and Twisp invite all businesses in the Methow Valley to a meeting on Thursday (Sept. 11) from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m. at the Winthrop Barn to discuss recovery from the summer’s fires. The meeting will include an overview of efforts to re-build tourism, an update on the valley’s long-term recovery organization, and solicitation of ideas for economic development efforts.
