Labor Day weekend in the Methow Valley offers a variety of entertainment and events. Here’s a list of things to do. For more information about individual events, see the calendar of events on page A8.

Friday

• Winthrop Market, offering local crafts and produce, at Mack Lloyd Park, 4 – 7 p.m.

• Music by Emele Clothier at Twisp River Suites, 5 p.m.

• Music by the Kara Hesse Band at Old Schoolhouse Brewery, Winthrop, 7 p.m.

• Benefit “Blues for the Burn” concert at the Winthrop Barn, 7 p.m.

Saturday

• Farmers Market in Twisp, 9 a.m. – noon.

• Open studios at TwispWorks, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

• Methow Valley Rodeo on Twin Lakes Road between Twisp and Winthrop, 1 p.m.

• Music by The Marvins at Old Schoolhouse Brewery, Winthrop, 6 p.m.

• Family dance featuring The Outlaws at Winthrop Barn, 7:30 p.m.

Sunday

• Winthrop Market at Mack Lloyd Park, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

• Methow Valley Rodeo on Twin Lakes Road between Twisp and Winthrop, 1 p.m.

• Music by Wild Mountain Nation at Methow Valley Ciderhouse, Winthrop, 3 p.m.

• Trading patterns of Northwest natives, with Richard Hart at Methow Valley Interpretive Center, Twisp, 3 p.m.

• Classical guitar by Terry Hunt at Twisp River Pub, 6 p.m.

• Music by Whiskey ‘N’ Rye at Old Schoolhouse Brewery, Winthrop, 7 p.m.

• Stargazing with Dave Ward at Sun Mountain Lodge, 8:30 p.m.
