Saturday car washes have treated the new Liberty Bell High School Football Club so well that the team has decided to hold its third consecutive wash, from 9 a.m. – noon this Saturday (Aug. 23) at the Methow Valley School district bus garage adjacent to the Methow Valley Community Center in Twisp.
The club’s first car wash involved four players and earned in excess of $350. The second drew 12 players and raked in more than $400. The club hopes to break the $1,000 mark when the total proceeds are tallied after this weekend.
