Notice of Open Record Public Hearing. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town of Twisp Board of Adjustment will hold an open record public hearing at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at Twisp Town Hall. The purpose of the hearing is to take testimony and establish the public record on an application for a Conditional Use Permit by the Methow Valley Irrigation District for the construction of a well field, appurtenant infrastructure and 8’ security fence. The project is located on property owned by Dave and DeAnnis Schulz behind Hanks Market off of SR 20. All interested persons are invited to attend and be heard. Those requiring assistance are requested to contact Town Hall a minimum of 24 hours prior to the scheduled hearing to notify the Town of the type of assistance required. Persons wishing to view project information may contact Twisp Town Hall, 118 S. Glover Street between the hours of 9:00 am until 5:00 pm Monday through Thursday. NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS. Trout Unlimited-Washington Water Project is proposing to construct a project on the Methow Valley Irrigation District Canal near Twisp, WA: Piping 23,590 l.f. of existing open canal between Twisp and Beaver Creek, with a steel temporary intake structure at the upper end. Tree removal within the 50 foot canal easement width will be an optional bid item. Contractor shall provide pipe, which can be either HDPE or PVC. Bidders must declare which kind of pipe will be used and base their bids on the pipe material they choose. Pre-bid site inspection at 1 PM on August 29, 2014, at the RiverBank Office, 206 Glover Street, Twisp WA. NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF ORDINANCE NO. 666. TOWN OF WINTHROP, WASHINGTON. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town of Winthrop has adopted its Ordinance No. 666, which in summary, amends Title 6 of the Winthrop Municipal Code to add a new Chapter 6.10, Animal Cruelty, and to provide for penalties for violations thereof. Said ordinance may be examined at the Winthrop Town Hall during regular business hours or a copy will be mailed upon request. This notice is given by order of the Town Council and pursuant to R.C.W. 35.27.300.
