Liberty Bell High School sophomore Cole Darwood, left, Twisp Police Chief Paul Budrow, and LBHS seniors Dwight Treise and Ashley Watson show off the new police department sign that the students created as part of their community service requirements. Darwood and Treise put the sign’s metal components together in Barry Stromberger’s welding class. Watson, a student in Robin Nelson-Wicks’ art class, painted the police department’s emblem with assistance from Donna Keyser. The new sign will be mounted above the department’s entrance.
