R&B Festival tuning up for 27th year

The usual stellar lineup is headed to the Methow Valley for the 27th annual Winthrop Rhythm & Blues Festival on July 18 – 20 at the Blues Ranch just west of town.

Performers scheduled to appear include Lady “A,” The Soul of John Black, DoctorfunK, Too Slim & the Taildraggers, David Vest, Roy Rogers & the Delta Rhythm Kings, Shemekia Copeland, Charlie Musselwhite, Royal Southern Brotherhood featuring Cyril Neville, Devon Allman, Mike Zito, Homemade Jamz Blues Band, Chris O’Leary Band, Carolyn Wonderland, Curley Taylor & Zydeco Trouble, and The Holmes Brothers.

Advance-sale tickets are $90; tickets are $100 at the gate. Children 12 and under are admitted free if accompanied by an adult. Camping is $45 for three days; camping on Thursday is an additional $25.
