The Methow Valley News has added two new staff members.

Rebecca Walker is the newspaper’s new office manager, replacing Marilyn Bardin, who retired. Walker most recently worked as a licensed life and health insurance agent at McDonald Zaring Insurance in Walla Walla. She also has been an assistant office manager and administrative assistant for State Farm Insurance.
Walker has attended Walla Walla Community College and pursued extensive training in the insurance field. She is a notary public.
Walker lives on Gold Creek with her partner, Michael Vaughan. She has three children: Joslynn Ruiz, 12; Preston Ezell, 5; and Mason Ezell, 3.

Tyson Kellie has joined the News as an advertising associate. Kellie, who earned a degree in business administration at Western Washington University in Bellingham, most recently was a sales associate at Kay Jewelers in Wenatchee. He fills the position recently vacated by advertising manager Robin Doggett.
Kellie grew up in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates, where he graduated from high school. His parents have owned a cabin in the Methow Valley for many years, and Kellie has been a frequent visitor since childhood. He spent one summer working as a banquet server at Sun Mountain Lodge. Kellie and his fiancé, Hailey Barnes, live in Pine Forest.
