Killer Whales set sights on Bullfrogs

June 26, 2014 by Methow Valley News

By Mike Maltais

The Methow Valley Killer Whales swim team will travel to Okanogan on Thursday (June 26) to take on the Bullfrogs of Okanogan in dual competition set to get underway at 5:15 p.m., and then will be back in their home pool to host the Methow Invitational Saturday (June 28), starting at 8:15 a.m.

Following team time trials on June 13, the Killer Whales hosted the Omak Manta Rays in a dual meet on June 19, where they won the bulk of some 70 head-to-head heats.

Two days later, the Methow pods competed in the Omak Invitational on Saturday (June 21).

The Killer Whales are on track to claim their ninth consecutive county championship this season.
