Artists reception at Sun Mountain

There will be a reception for local artists featured in the summer exhibit at The Gallery at Sun Mountain Lodge on Sunday (June 22) from 4-6 p.m. Featured artists are Jenn Tate, Bob Hutchins and Sharol Chandler. Returning artists are Donna Keyser, Kathy Meyers, Sue Marracci and Cheryl Wrangle. For more information, call 997-7005.

Pottery on Wednesday nights

Sip ’n’ Spin is back. Beginning this week and through Aug. 27, the Methow Valley Clay Art Center at TwispWorks will be open from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday nights for anyone who wants to work on their pottery skills with ceramicist Matt Armbrust. Bring you own food and drink; the only charge is for firing ceramic works. For more information, call Armbrust at 997-1022.

McFeron in two free shows

Seattle-based singer/songwriter Ian McFeron will appear with Alisa Milner on fiddle, cello and harmony vocals on June 27 at Music in the Park in Tonasket, and on June 28 at Sweet River Bakery in Pateros. Both performances are free. The Tonasket show begins at 6 p.m., the Pateros show at 7 p.m. For more information, call (206) 369-1389.
