Old Schoolhouse Brewery of Winthrop won two gold medals at the North American Beer Awards last weekend in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Uncle Big’s Brown won the gold in the brown porter category and Brewer’s Reserve Imperial Stout took the medal in the imperial stout category. The event is conducted as a single blind sampling followed by rank ordering of the entries within a category. Breweries from throughout the West competed.
