Memorial Day 2014

May 28, 2014 by Methow Valley News

Hundreds of people paid their respects at Winthrop’s historic Sullivan Cemetery on Memorial Day (May 26). American Legion and Legion Auxiliary members laid flags and flowers on the graves of veterans buried there, and performed a moving honor guard ceremony at the World War I memorial.
