Hello from the land of the fun and over 60. We are living a life few can. We’ve been there, done that, and forgot we did, so enjoy doing it all over again. How fun is that? Life is good!
We are still working on the Western Sale to open to y’all on May 24. Tension is mounting as everyone hurries to make everything just perfect for your shopping enjoyment.
The day will start with our ever-popular gastronomical extravaganza—the Western Breakfast starting at 7 a.m. Donna and Randee are planning a feast you will not soon forget! Donna is the best cook, as is Randee. Add Randee’s talent for decorations and you have an event to remember!
Then at 8 a.m. we open the doors to the Western Boutique Room. Ann and her crew are stocking shelves and shaking their heads at the bounty you all provide for us each year. We are blessed by you! Come eat and enjoy shopping for treasures. If you have some Western items gathering dust in your home, bring them in. We love new treasures!
So nice, now that the pass is open, to have Howard and JoAnn back from the Wet Side … um, the West Side. We miss all of you who vacation elsewhere during the winter. Nice to see Freddie back with us, too. I love his booming voice when he says the blessing.
Our condolences go out to our own Sue Koch for the passing of her father, who once lived in the valley. We are thinking of you and your loss, Sue.
Bingo is Friday (May 16) after lunch so you best read this fast and get over to the center!
Plans are underway for the Over 80s Party on May 30. It will be fun! More on that later.
