Enjoy high-energy jazz and a satisfying bowl of spaghetti — and help support the Liberty Bell High School music program — when the Liberty Bell jazz band plays at the Twisp River Pub next Wednesday (April 23).
The 18-member student group — five saxophones; four trombones; three trumpets; and a rhythm section with keyboard, guitar, percussion, and three bass players (one electric and two stand-up) — will play two selections by Count Basie, a Dixieland arrangement of “Just A Closer Walk,” and an assortment of jazz standards.
Doors open at 6 p.m. for the spaghetti-dinner fundraiser. Admission is $10 for adults, $7 for students, or $30 for a family of four.
