March 24

SUSPICIOUS ACTIVTY: Caller on Old Carlton Road reported finding foot-high letters in red paint on their gravel driveway, with the letters NPUO. The caller did not know who painted the letters or what they meant.

WILDLAND FIRE: A grass fire was reported on Highway 153 near Twisp.

March 25

DOMESTIC DISPUTE: A domestic dispute was reported on West Twisp Avenue, Twisp, involving a verbal argument over a vehicle between the caller and his son, who was also reported to have destroyed many items in the residence.

March 26

CHECK ON PERSONAL WELFARE: A check on the welfare of a person in Carlton was requested.

March 27

ASSAULT: Caller on Ross Road reported an ongoing problem with two boys choking his son on the school bus.

FAILURE TO REGISTER: A person was taken into custody on North Methow Valley Highway, Twisp, for failing to register.

March 28

VEHICLE PROWL: Theft from a vehicle was reported on North Methow Valley Highway, Twisp.

BURGLARY ALARM: A burglary alarm was reported on Witte Road, Winthrop.

BURGLARY ALARM: A burglary alarm was reported on Highway 20, Winthrop.

MALICIOUS MISCHIEF: Caller on Meadows Road, Carlton, reported that someone had pulled out their fence posts.

CHECK ON PERSONAL WELFARE: A check on the living conditions of a person on East Methow Valley Highway, Twisp, was requested.

March 29

LITTERING: Caller on Wolf Creek Road, Winthrop, asked for options for dealing with people who have been target shooting leaving their shell casings laying around.

SUPICIOUS ACTIVITY: Caller reported that there was a pickup truck parked at Highway 20 and Twisp Airport Road, with the door open and no one around.

March 30

THEFT: Caller reported items missing at a residence near Black Pine Lake.

BURGLARY: A suspicious person was reported in a residence on Wolf Creek Road, Winthrop.

POSSIBLE DUI: It was reported that a man had driven a vehicle into a pond on Twisp River Road. The driver was apparently out of the vehicle and walking toward town.

March 26

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES: A car was reported parked sideways in a driveway on Ross Road.

March 27

CHECK ON PERSONAL WELFARE: Caller asked for a check on the personal welfare of their daughter on Canyon Street.

911 CALL ABUSE: Abuse of the 911 line was reported.

EXTRA PATROL: An extra patrol was requested on Twisp Airport Road.

March 28

MALICIOUS MISCHIEF: It was reported that some items were moved and lights broken at a restaurant on East Methow Valley Highway.

March 30

DISABLED VEHICLE: A disabled vehicle was reported on Highway 20.

March 26

ANIMAL PROBLEM: An animal complaint was reported on Lince Avenue.

March 28

ATTEMPT TO LOCATE: A missing person from Mercer Island was reported to possibly be in the Winthrop area.

 

Okanogan County District Court

Tami K. Campbell, 55, of Twisp, pleaded guilty to third-degree Driving While License Suspended. She was sentenced to 90 days with 90 suspended and fined a total of $818.

 

Decrees of dissolution

The court dissolved the marriage of Kaarin E. Kelly, Twisp, and Steven J. Kelly, Winthrop.
