Town of Twisp. Request for Statement of Qualifications. The Town of Twisp solicits interest from consulting firms with expertise in Civil and Structural Design. Consultants will be considered for the following project:
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The work to be performed by the CONSULTANT consists of preparing preliminary engineering, environmental, PS&E, advertisement and award for the improvement of SR 20 to Vic. Twisp Park. The proposed improvements include sidewalk, ADA ramps, bike lane, curb & gutter and drainage on the north side of Twisp Ave. and the west side of Lincoln St. The project length is approximately 0.24 miles. It is estimated that the design phase will occur in June 2014.
SUBMITTAL
All proposals shall contain the following minimum information in the order shown below:
Letter of Interest and Introduction. Similar Experience: List the experience for the firm’s key staff proposed for this project. Provide detailed information, including references, on two of those projects that are considered to be very similar to this project. Proposed Staff: List the experience and number of years with the firm for the key members of the staff proposed on the project (Resumes to be included as appendix). Also, include the experience of any sub consultant staff to be proposed on this staff. What experience has the team had together on other projects? Demonstration of Understanding of the Project: List and describe briefly what you think are important issues on this project and what would be your approach for successful project completion.
Staff Availability: Demonstrate your ability to provide the proposed staff for this project. Project Management: Who will be the project manager? What experience does the project manager have on transportation projects generally and, specifically with the LAG Manual. What experience does the project Manager have on multi-agency projects? Describe the project management approach to be used, including how costs will be managed and controlled.
Proposal Format: Please provide the above information in the order listed in an organized fashion. The total length of the proposal shall not exceed 20 double sided or 40 single sided, letter size pages and graphics shall be kept to a minimum (resumes will not be counted on the page totals).
Evaluation and ranking of consultants shall be by Town Officials based on written evaluation forms that rate each firm based on the above 7 criteria. The Town of Twisp reserves the right to retain the services of the successful firm for any subsequent phases associated with this project. The Town of Twisp encourages disadvantaged, minority, and women-owned consultant firms to respond.
Two copies of the SOQ shall be submitted to Twisp Town Hall 118 S. Glover St. Twisp, WA 98856 or mailed to Town of Twisp, PO Box 278 Twisp, WA 98856 (received or post marked) by 5/1/14 at 3:00 PM. Notice of Appeal & Public Hearing. Notice is hereby given that, Austin Lott, 5 Lloyd Lane, Winthrop, WA 98862, has appealed the decision of the Town of Winthrop’s zoning administrator to prohibit marijuana retail in the Industrial zone of the Town, pursuant to Title 17, Zoning and Title 19, Administrative Procedures of the Winthrop Municipal Code. A previously scheduled public hearing to consider amending Title 17 regarding marijuana retail will be postponed pending action by the Town Council on this appeal.
The appeal is to be heard during an open record public hearing before the Winthrop Town Council, in accord with WMC 19.10. The hearing is scheduled for April 16, 2014 at 7:15 pm, Winthrop Auditorium (the Barn), 51 Highway 20, Winthrop, WA. Any person desiring to present oral or written testimony on the substance of the appeal may do so at the hearing. Written comments received by the Town Clerk prior to 4:00 pm on the hearing date will be entered into the record and provided to the Town Council. Any person requiring assistance to access the hearing venue or requiring other special assistance is urged to contact Town Hall at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled hearing.

Notice of Consultants Roster. Twisp Public Development Authority Notice of Consultant Roster.
In accordance with RCW 39.80, the Twisp Public Development Authority (PDA) is accepting applications for a Consultant Roster. The purpose of this roster is to select qualified consultants for future assignments. The Twisp PDA is seeking a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified consultants to perform various services including but not limited to: architectural services, engineering services, design and planning services, environmental consulting services, energy (renewable and other), legal services, communication and media, marketing, and financial services. Statements shall include 1) description of the firm 2) a listing of types of services the firm provides 3) description of the consultant’s team including references 4) description of relevant project experience related to the services listed above and 5) firm references. Statements of qualifications will be used as a source from which to select one or more qualified firms from whom a detailed proposal will be requested for any specific project. Notice of Small Works Roster. Twisp Public Development Authority Notice of Small Public Works Roster.
In accordance with RCW 39.04.155, the Twisp Public Development Authority (PDA) is accepting applications for a Small Public Works Roster. The purpose of the roster is to solicit bids for future small public works projects not to exceed $200,000. Proposals will be accepted from qualified licensed and bonded contractors who request to be on the list by submitting a completed application. Twisp PDA Small Public Works includes but is not limited to: construction, building demolition, electrical, renovation and remodeling, alteration, repair, snow removal, sewer and water system work, landscaping and excavation.
