Welborn brothers purchase Classic Towing

March 20, 2014 by Methow Valley News

Brothers Tyler and Jeremy Welborn have purchased Classic Towing in Twisp from Dallas Darwood.

Although the brothers are originally from Snohomish County, they trace their Methow Valley heritage to the family’s 1908 homestead on Twisp River Road, and were frequent visitors before moving here.

Jeremy, who moved to the valley in 2000, has worked for Les Schwab Tires, Port’s Towing and Cascade Tire. Tyler, who moved to the Methow in 2010, has worked for Ports’ Towing and Classic Towing.

The sale was completed in January. The Darwood family bought Port’s Towing in 2011 and renamed it Classic Towing, according to the Welborn brothers.

Classic Towing is located at 20396 Highway 20 and can be reached at 997-2333 for 24-hour service, including lock-outs and jump-starts. The company is AAA-affiliated.
