Exchange student host families sought

March 20, 2014 by Methow Valley News

The ASSE International Student Exchange Program is seeking local families to host high school-age exchange students for the next school year.

Exchange students are 15 to 18 years old and are screened by ASSE International. They speak English, are personally insured, bring their own spending money and are expected to be included in normal family activities. It’s not necessary to have children at home to be a host family.

To learn more, call Hollie Romei at (509) 429-4573 or email hollieromei@gmail.com; or call toll-free at (800) 733-2773. ASSE International is a nonprofit designated as an exchange visitor program by the U.S. Department of State.
