Three Mountain Lions make All-League First Team

March 7, 2014 by Methow Valley News

Liberty Bell High School seniors Jaymis Hanson, Logan Szafas and Austin Watson have been voted to the Central Washington 2B League North All-League Basketball First Team, coach Kyle Acord said this week.
All three were starters and leading scorers for the league champion Mountain Lions team that finished the season with a 9 – 2 league record and 14 – 7 for the season.
Hanson also received the second-most votes for Most Valuable Player behind Lake Roosevelt’s Chance Garvin.
In addition to Hanson, Szafas and Watson, Liberty Bell’s varsity basketball squad will lose seniors Liam Daily, Cesar Dominguez, Morgan Ott and Daniel Sonnichsen to graduation this year.
