The installation of a brand-new, empty-for-now Little Library in front of the Mazama Store on Tuesday morning was celebrated by Amanda Jackson Mott of Methow Arts, left, Allen Towne, Mick Hansen and Tim Odell of Alpine Welding, and store owners Rick and Missy Le Duc. The Little Library is intended to be both public art and a place where people can exchange, lend and borrow books. Four more Little Libraries are planned for other valley locations, said Jackson Mott.
