Methow artists’ work in Seattle

Methow Valley artists Sara Ashford (textiles) and Steve Ward (metalwork) will be featured at the Fremont First Friday Art Walk in Seattle on March 7. Their work will be on display from 6-8 p.m. at the offices of Johnston Architects, 100 N.E. Northlake Way, suite 200.

Bronn and Katherine Journey at OPAC

Harpist Bronn Journey and his wife, Katherine, will perform March 14 at the Omak Performing Arts Center. Bronn delivers a widely varied repertoire, including many Broadway hits, while Katherine adds vocals. The couple has presented Christmas programs in Leavenworth and Winthrop. The performance begins at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 for students and children and $15 for adults. For more information, call (509) 826-8323. Tickets are available online at www.brownpapertickets.com.

Horse Crazy appearing at the grange

The Horse Crazy Cowgirl Band will offer western music and cowboy comedy in a performance on March 20 at the Twisp Valley Grange. Cowboy poet and author Dave McClure will also be part of the event. The show begins at 7 p.m.
