We feel a strong need to give back to the community, especially in response to horrific life events. We opened our doors to help those families who lost everything in recent house fires. Three families lost it all two weeks ago. If you have good items these families can use, contact us, local churches or The Cove. We are unable to take large furniture items, but can be a conduit with The Cove to help meet the acute needs of these families.
I can’t imagine what it would be like to one day have nothing. Absolutely nothing! We are all so very blessed and should thank God each day for that. I was surprised to learn that the Salvation Army and Red Cross are responding to these needs too. Thank Glenn Schmekel for his tireless work on this tragedy. Cool.
Happy Birthday, Lulu Belle! You are one of my very favorites!
