The Lost River Winter Triathlon — combining a 17.2-kilometer bike ride, 10.7K ski and 7.5K run — will be March 1 at Mazama. Entrants can compete solo or in teams of two or three. The race — with each leg beginning and ending at the Mazama Corral — begins at 9 a.m.
Cost is $50 for solo competitors and $105 for a team. Registration includes race fee, prizes and a party with a local micro-brew and warm snacks. Packet pick-up and registration are available from 5-8 p.m. on Feb. 28 at North Cascades Mountain Hostel in Winthrop. Pick-up and registration will also be available on race day from 7-8:30 a.m. at the Mazama Community Club.
