Hospital narrows CEO search

The Three Rivers Hospital board of directors will interview five finalists for the position of chief executive officer later this month, according to spokesperson Rebecca Meadows.

Current CEO Bud Hufnagel earlier said he would resign effective April 30. Meadows said there were 26 applicants for the position.

After the five finalists are interviewed, the field will be pared down to two or three candidates who will attend a public meeting in March to talk about their interest in the job and answer questions, Meadows said.
