Charlotte Velma Gibson was born Feb. 10, 1936, in Twisp, to parents Fred and Sadie (Rickard) Foster, and died Feb. 7, 2014, in Puyallup, Wash. In 1954 she graduated from Twisp High school, where she played tennis and was a cheerleader.
Charlotte had a master’s degree and was a counselor in mental health.
She rode a motorcycle to Reno, Nev., where she married Eric Gibson. They had three children: Bob Gibson, Sue Gibson and Mike Gibson.
Charlotte lived most of her life in the Twisp area. She is survived by her children; by granddaughters Rose, Haley, Morgan and Erika Gibson; and by great-grandsons Chase and Devon Jackson.
A service was held Feb. 12 at Beaver Creek Cemetery.
