The Methow Institute for Sports Traumatology (MIST) opened for business in Winthrop on Jan. 30. The orthopedic specialty clinic, which focuses on sports medicine care, is located at 505B Highway 20.
MIST, operated by Dr. Joshua Schkrohowsky, had previously been located at the Country Clinic in Winthrop. The new location, Schkrohowsky said, “brings a more permanent presence” to his Methow Valley practice.
Schkrohowsky said MIST will offer the most advanced treatment for sports-related injuries. Schkrohowsky performs surgeries at Lake Chelan Community Hospital.
Schkrohowsky said the clinic will host an open house on March 6 from 4 – 7 p.m.
