Family Night at Methow Valley Elementary

February 6, 2014 by Methow Valley News

Thursday night, Jan. 27, well after the buses had taken them home, students and their families returned to the school in droves. The event was Methow Valley Elementary’s family night, which capped off Reading in the Family month. The Family Night event saw a poster gallery celebrating students’ favorite books, a display of wildly creative fifth- and sixth-grade projects, a crowded book fair, a drawing in which four bicycles that had been donated by the local Masonic lodge were awarded to area students, the Hoops for Heart fundraiser, some live music and a delicious taco dinner.
