Ava Elice Smith came to us Jan. 9, 2014, at 10:59 p.m., six weeks early. Ava could not wait full term to see us all. Ava is the daughter of Selena and Scott Smith of Mill Creek, Wash. She still resides in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at EvergreenHealth in Kirkland, Wash., with her nurses happily doting over her as she continues to grow into the happy healthy girl she is. Her proud grandparents, Suekii and Wayne Cornwall and Jay and Sue Smith, all of Winthrop, are elated with her arrival and wait patiently for her to visit her family in the Methow Valley.
