The Liberty Bell High School Knowledge Bowl Teams finished in sixth and seventh place at the seven-school competition held last week at Tonasket.
Team One, comprised of captain Corey Diamond, Riley Calvert and Rowan Post, placed seventh.
Team Two, comprised of captain Sebastian Hogness, Claire Waichler, Sylvie LeDuc and Skyler Fitzmaurice, finished sixth.
Liberty Bell One and Two were among 16 teams that competed from Chelan, Omak, Oroville, Okanogan, Pateros, and host Tonasket.
Okanogan One dominated its opponents with 74 points, followed by Tonasket One with 59 and Chelan One with 37.
“We did well with 26.3 points and 26 points,” said coach Leverett Hubbard. “Sebastian stepped up and led his team comprised of rookies to a very respectable sixth-place finish.”
