The Methow Valley Communications District, in accordance with RCW 39.04.155, wishes to provide public notice of the establishment of a Small Works Roster for public works projects not to exceed $300,000. The Small Works Roster shall include approved contractors who, when required by law, are properly licensed or registered for general or specialty contract work.
Contractors who are interested in being included on the roster can find the application and instructions at the District website: methowcommunications.org, or may request an application by calling 509-322-4038, or by mail: MVCD, PO Box 1031, Winthrop, WA, 98862.

Planned Development Lot Size. Code Amendment 2014-2.
Notice of public hearing and threshold SEPA determination is hereby given. Okanogan County is processing a legislative action which amends Okanogan County Code Title 17 “Zoning”, specifically Chapter 17.19 “Planned Developments”. This amendment would implement a minimum acreage limit for new Planned Developments located within the Rural Residential and Low-Density Residential zone districts. Project comments and SEPA comments will be reviewed separately. SEPA Comments must be submitted in writing no later than 5:00 pm February 5, 2014. According to Washington SEPA (State Environmental Policy Act) regulations, Okanogan County Planning and Development issued a DNS (determination of non-significance) for this proposal. Failure to comment by this date denies a party standing to appeal the final determination.
Comments must be submitted in writing, or attend the public hearing. The Okanogan County Planning Commission scheduled a public hearing on February 24, 2014 at 7:00pm. The hearing is located in the Virginia Grainger Commissioners Hearing Room at 123 5th Ave North, Okanogan, WA 98840. Information is available at the Office of Planning and Development. LEGAL NOTICE
Notice of Special Meeting – February 4th, 2014. The Three Rivers Hospital Board of Directors will be attending a meeting hosted by the Okanogan County Commissioners on Tuesday, February 4th, 2014 beginning at 5:30 p.m. in the Commissioners Hearing Room located in the Virginia Grainger Administration Building at 123 – 5th Avenue North, Okanogan, Wash. The purpose of this meeting is to develop a proactive, county-wide response to the health care issues impacting the local public hospital districts. No meeting will be convened and no hospital business will be conducted by the board at this meeting.
