She went to school in Springdale, Wash., and got her degree at Spokane Falls Community College. Cindy came to the Methow Valley in 1989 and worked for the U.S Forest service for many years.
She had a love for the outdoors. Some of her favorite things were hunting, trapping, skiing, snowmobiling, camping and river rafting, and she did beautiful woodwork.
Cindy left behind three daughters: Angie Ochoa (Daniel), Twisp; Michael Flett, Omak; and Casey Bair, of Montana.
Cindy loved each and every one of her grandchildren so very much: Dakota Ochoa, Gabe Ochoa, Lauren Ochoa, Tommie Ochoa, Chase Kieffer, Andres Jimenez, Jorden and Layla Flett and Lourasia Weatherwax. She has a great grandson, Ryder Ochoa. If you knew Cindy, you knew each one of her grandchildren, for they played a big part of her life.
