Except for those heading to higher elevations, valley snowmobilers are still waiting for snow to fall in sufficient quantity in order to access the 11 Sno-Parks and 175-plus miles of trails scattered around the county.
In the meantime, members of the Methow Valley Snowmobile Association (MVSA) will once again maintain the warming barrels during Winthrop’s Christmas at the End of the Road festivities Friday and Saturday (Nov. 29-30).
Club president Craig Stahl said a booth will also be available featuring information about the club and its activities.
