METHOW VALLEY IRRIGATION DISTRICT NOTICE TO FILE DECLARATION OF CANDIDACY FOR ELECTION OF DISTRICT DIRECTOR.
Notice is hereby given that an election of the MVID will be held. The District will elect one member to the Board of Directors to serve for a three (3) year term commencing Jan. 7, 2014. Any qualified elector of the District interested in becoming a candidate must be sponsored by ten qualified electors of the District whose signatures appear on a petition that will show his/her intentions of becoming a candidate for Directorship. Petition blanks may be obtained from the District Secretary at 509-997-2318.
These signed petitions must be filed with the Secretary of said District no later than 5:00 p.m. Monday, November 4, 2013. Should the Secretary receive only one signed petition for the position under the amended State Irrigation Statute an election will not be necessary. /s/ B. Morgan.

Notice is hereby given that petitions for exclusion of land have been filed with the Board of Directors of the Methow Valley Irrigation District. The name of the petitioners, together with the land descriptions identified by the Okanogan County Assessor parcel numbers, to be excluded from the boundaries of the MVID in Okanogan County, State of Washington, are as follows: Parcel: 3322180090, .10 acres, Owner: Leone Edson. Parcel 3322270310, 2.36 acres, Owner: Terry & Sharon Warden, Parcel: 3322170314,1.50 acres, Owner: Cramer, John & Carrie.
All persons interested in or that may be affected by the change of the boundaries of the District are to appear at the Regular Meeting of the MVID on the 11th day of Nov., 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at the River Bank Office in Twisp, WA to show cause in writing, if any they have, why the change of the boundaries of the District, as proposed in the petition, should not be made. The failure of any person interested in said District to show cause in writing why the tracts of land mentioned in said petition should not be excluded from the MVID shall be deemed and taken as an assent to such exclusion.

The Three Rivers Hospital Board of Directors will be holding a Special Board Meeting on Tuesday, November 12th, 2013 from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. The purpose of this meeting is for continuing education and will be held in the Meeting Room at The Douglas Okanogan County Fire District 15 Fire Hall, 191 Industrial Way, Pateros, Washington Board members, senior hospital staff and guest speakers will be participating. No meeting will be convened and no hospital business will be conducted by the board at this meeting.

An Ordinance of the Town Council of the Town of Twisp, Washington, amending portions of Title 18 of the Twisp Municipal Code entitled “Zoning” to amend the definition of “Overnight Rental” and add a definition for “Overnight Accommodation”, remove the definition of “Tourist Accommodations”, modify Appendix A District Use Chart regarding Bed and Breakfasts, and Overnight Accommodations modify the requirements for Overnight Rentals, and to add a new section containing conditions specific to Administrative Permits for Overnight Rentals and Overnight Accommodations.

The public hearing to take comments on the application for a second modification of the preliminary approval of the Twisp River Suites Planned Development was canceled for October 23, 2013. The public hearing has been rescheduled for November 13, 2013 at 6:00 at Twisp Town Hall located at 118 South Glover St., Twisp, WA. TOWN OF WINTHROP.PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Winthrop Town Council will hold a public hearing on the revenue sources for the 2013 current expense fund budget and the setting of the annual Ad Valorem (property) and Emergency Medical Service taxes for the Town of Winthrop at 7:05 pm on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 in the back room (Hen House) of the Winthrop Barn, 51 SR20.
NOTICE IS ALSO GIVEN that the 2014 preliminary budget for the Town of Winthrop has been filed with the Town Clerk. Preliminary Budget will be available at Winthrop Town Hall on November 8, 2013. Hearing on said budget will be held on November 20, 2013.
All interested persons may appear and be heard at said time and place.
Written comments must be received by the time of hearing in order to be considered. All persons requiring assistance in accessing the Winthrop Barn are requested to contact Town Hall at 996-2320 at least one day prior to the hearing.
The property tax ordinances can be reviewed at Winthrop Town Hall or mailed upon request.
