METHOW VALLEY IRRIGATION DISTRICT NOTICE TO FILE DECLARATION OF CANDIDACY FOR ELECTION OR DISTRICT DIRECTOR.
Notice is hereby given that an election of the MVID will be held. The District will elect one member to the Board of Directors to serve for a three (3) year term commencing Jan. 7, 2014. Any qualified elector of the District interested in becoming a candidate must be sponsored by ten qualified electors of the District whose signatures appear on a petition that will show his/her intentions of becoming a candidate for Directorship. Petition blanks may be obtained from the District Secretary at 509-997-2318.
These signed petitions must be filed with the Secretary of said District no later than 5:00 p.m. Monday, November 4, 2013. Should the Secretary receive only one signed petition for the position under the amended State Irrigation Statute an election will not be necessary. /s/ B. Morgan.

Notice of Public Hearing. Notice is hereby given that a special public hearing will be held pursuant to RCW 70.44.060(6) on the 28th day of October, 2013, for the purpose of receiving public comment on the 2014 Budget for Three Rivers Hospital. A copy of the budget is available by contacting Administrative Assistant Lesley Moore in Room 205 at Hillcrest House. Any interested person may present their comments orally at the time of the public hearing. The hearing shall be held in the Hillcrest Commons Area in the Administration Building of Three Rivers Hospital, located at 415 Hospital Way, Brewster, Washington, commencing at 12:00 p.m. on the date set forth above.

The Okanogan Conservation District Board of Supervisors will hold a meeting at 4:00 PM on November 7, 2013 at the USDA Service Center, 1251 S. 2nd Ave, Okanogan, WA to adopt a resolution setting the date, time, location and manner of an election to fill a Conservation District Supervisor’s expiring term.

NOTICE OF APPLICATION & PUBLIC HEARING. F&S CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT. FILE #: WIN CUP 13-1; PARCEL #: 2890000900. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT F&S Excavating, LLC, 73 Old Twisp Hwy, Twisp, WA 98856, has submitted application to the Town of Winthrop for a conditional use permit pursuant to Winthrop Municipal Code (WMC) sections 17.16.010 and 17.28.010. Activities on the site include storage of equipment for the excavating business; bulk storage of materials (soil and rock); and soil screening/materials processing. A conditional use ermit is sought to ensure uses are conducted in accord with WMC Section 17.28.010, and to add the option of rock crushing. The parcel is Lot 9 of Horizon Flats subdivision, in the Town of Winthrop, Township 34, Range 21, NW quarter of Section 11.
The Winthrop Town Council will hold an open record public hearing to consider the proposal on Wednesday, November 20, at 7:20 pm, Winthrop Auditorium (the Barn) 51 Highway 20, Winthrop, WA. The hearing will be conducted in accord with WMC Chapter 19.10. Any person desiring to present written or oral testimony may do so at the hearing. All persons or agencies who comment or present testimony shall have standing as a party of record. Any person requiring assistance to access the Barn or requiring other special assistance are urged to contact Town Hall as least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled hearing.
Information Available: Application materials are on file at Winthrop Town Hall, 206 Riverside Ave. Persons wishing to view project information or receive notice of the action taken on the application may contact Winthrop Town Hall between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday – Friday.
