Ghost, ghouls, and goblins, oh my! It must be Halloween again. The Winthrop Marshal’s Office says here are some safety things you should think about before you and your scary partner go out and get those special treats that will keep them up all night.
You should travel with some kind of light source or a way for others to see you in the dark. Always look both ways before crossing any street and use sidewalks or stay to the far side of the road. Try to go out in a group with trusted adults. Never get into a vehicle or go into anyone’s house you do not know.
Make sure you only eat candy that has the original wrapping on it and avoid homemade treats. If you come by the marshal’s office, we have Halloween bags with glow-in-the-dark bracelets, and other treats. Have a happy and safe Halloween.
