Grey Patterson gained skills and confidence on the terrain park at “Take a kid mountain biking day,” sponsored by the Methow Chapter of the Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance on Saturday. About 30 kids (and some adults) conquered ramps, berms and a teeter-totter, went on trail rides and replenished burnt calories with a post-ride barbecue at the Chickadee trailhead.
