Registration continues through Friday (Sept. 20) for the 11th Annual Winthrop Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament, scheduled for Saturday (Sept. 21) at Bear Creek Golf Course near Winthrop.
The fundraising tournament is a team event using a scramble format, which features teams of four playing against one another.
Check-in is from 8 to 8:30 a.m. Saturday, followed by a shotgun start at 9 a.m. The entry fee is $60 per person and includes the greens fee, cart, tee prizes and lunch.
Melbourne Insurance is sponsoring a chance to win a $10,000 prize for a hole-in-one shot at hole 15. Each member of the top team will receive a certificate for a one-night stay at Sun Mountain Lodge. A raffle and awards ceremony will follow lunch, with prizes for the longest drive and closest shot to the pin.
