Sept. 9

CIVIL MATTER: Caller reported from Texas Creek Road, Carlton, that a neighbor was trenching in an easement, making it nearly impassable.

WEAPONS OFFENSE: Caller on Poorman Creek Road, Twisp, reported that neighbors were setting off fireworks.

Sept. 10

SUSPICIOUS BEHAVIOR: Caller reported that a woman in a pickup truck was behaving suspicious at Northcott Road and West Chewuch Road, Winthrop.

STRAY ANIMAL: Two bulls were reported to be wandering around on Bear Creek Road, Winthrop.

TRAFFIC HAZARD: A dead deer was causing traffic problems on Highway 153, Carlton.

DOMESTIC DISPUTE: A possible domestic dispute was reported on Twisp-Winthrop Eastside Road.

UNSECURED PREMISES: An unsecured building was reported on East Methow Valley Highway, Twisp.

Sept. 12

THEFT: It was reported that someone entered two travel trailers on Cub Creek Road, north of Winthrop, and took some items.

DOMESTIC DISPUTE: It was reported that a father and his son were in a dispute over some car keys on Washington Street in Winthrop.

THEFT: It was reported that a backpack with a laptop computer, cell phone and car keys was taken during a game at Liberty Bell High School on Twin Lakes Road.

Sept. 13

ACCIDENT: A motorcycle accident was reported on West Chewuch Road, Winthrop.

Sept. 14

ATTEMPT TO LOCATE: Deputies were asked to attempt to locate a hiker who had not returned as expected, possibly in the area of Cathedral Lake Trail.

MEDICAL PROBLEM: It was reported that a woman may have broken her leg in a mountain biking accident in an area near Highway 20 west of Mazama.

DUI: An apparently intoxicated man was refusing to get on the ground as directed by a police officer, on Main Street in Winthrop.

SEARCH AND RESCUE: A woman was reported to have a possible broken ankle at the boulder field near Lewis Lake, at Rainy Pass.

CUSTODIAL ISSUE: A man who went to pick up his son for a visitation on Knotty Pine Road, Winthrop, reported that his ex-wife and son were not there.

Sept. 15

ASSAULT: A woman on Patterson Lake Road, Winthrop, reported that her husband was inebriated and was throwing her down on the ground, but she would not give any other information.

HARASSMENT: A caller on Evans Road, Winthrop, reported that another man had swerved toward him in a vehicle.

Sept. 16

BURGLARY: A burglary alarm was reported on Rocky Top Road, Winthrop.

CIVIL MATTER: A caller requested help with a civil matter regarding a vehicle.

Sept. 10

FRAUD: A caller reported that he had been charged three different times for staying at a place on East Methow Valley Highway.

SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY: A suspicious person was reported to be in the area.

Sept. 13

DISABLED VEHICLE: A disabled vehicle was reported on Highway 20 just north of the town limits.

BURGLARY: A caller on West Twisp Avenue reported that someone had entered their residence sometime during the past hour.

Sept. 10

MEDICAL PROBLEM: A man on Castle Avenue was reportedly having chest pains.

THEFT: A theft of a sign was reported at a residence on Highway 20.

Sept. 14

LOST PROPERTY: A woman reported that she had left a credit card at a business on Highway 20 and had just realized that she no longer had it.

MEDICAL ISSUE: A man was reportedly passed out at a location on Northcott Road.

Sept. 15

CIVIL MATTER: A caller reported that possibly either a burglary or a landlord-tenant dispute was occurring on Castle Avenue.
