Notice of Application/SEPA Determination of Non-Significance The Town of Twisp has received an application for a second modification of the preliminary approval of the Twisp River Suites Planned Development and has issued a SEPA Determination of Non-Significance on said application. Date of permit application:8/29/2013. Date of determination of completeness: 9/5/13. Date of this notice of application:9/5/13. Comment Period SEPA Appeal Date ends: Written Comment Period – October 17, 2013 SEPA Appeal – October 3, 2013. Project Description: The proposal is for the second modification of the preliminary approval granted to the Twisp River Suites Planned Development by the Town of Twisp on April 12, 2012. The first modification, approved by the Town on January 8, 2013 expanded the original PD by adding the parcel at 223 West Twisp Avenue to the development and dedicated use of the parcel and existing structure to additional parking and a laundry/storage facility ancillary to the existing Hotel. The subject modification is another expansion of the area contained within the Planned Development to include parcel 26450020301 located at 121 West Twisp Avenue. Said additional parcel is to be used for parking, expansion of the existing hotel and other uses permitted under zoning.

Project Location: Tax Parcels: 2640020301 located at 121 west Twisp Avenue, 2640030200 located at 223 West Twisp Avenue West, 2640030100 located at 115 Johnson Street and 2640010503 occupied by the Twisp River Suites main building.

Required Permits – This project requires approval of the second modification of the preliminarily approved Twisp River Suites Planned Development by the Town of Twisp.
Required Studies: None. Existing Environmental Documents: Town of Twisp Critical Areas Ordinance, SEPA checklist provided by applicant with the original application on 01/10/12 and the supplemental checklist submitted with the first modification and a supplemental checklist submitted with the current request for modification.
Comments/SEPA Appeals: Written comments on the application must be received by the Town Clerk, PO BOX 278, 118 S. Glover St, Twisp WA. no later than 4 pm on October 17, 2013 and appeals of the SEPA determination may be made in writing to the Town of Twisp Clerk by 4 pm on October 3rd, 2013. A public hearing before the Town Planning Commission has been set for 6:00 pm, Wednesday, October 23rd at Twisp Town Hall. Any person desiring to obtain standing for appeal of any final action by the Town must submit comments in writing or attend the Planning Commission Public Hearing.

Notice of Adoption of Ordinance No. 656 (Town Of Winthrop, Washington) Notice is hereby given that the Town of Winthrop has adopted its Ordinance No. 656, which in summary, modifies Table 17.16.010 of Title 17 Zoning, of the Winthrop Municipal Code to allow overnight rentals in the Mixed Use 1 zone. Said ordinance may be examined at the Winthrop Town Hall during regular business hours or a copy will be mailed upon request.
