A benefit concert for Dale Peterson, a local resident who was training to climb Mt. Rainier before he was severely injured in a recent bicycle accident, will be held Sept. 27 at the Methow Valley Community Center in Twisp, from 5-9 p.m.
Scheduled to appear are the RT Jr. Band, Shaka Donia, The Last Outlaws, Terry Hunt and the Family Dog, and possibly other local musicians.
Suggested donation is $10. Homemade food and snacks will be available. For more information, call 996-3298.
Peterson suffered spinal injuries and fractures in the bike accident, and is recovering in a cast.
