Car wash for Teen Center
The Valley Teen Center is staging a fundraising car wash from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. on Saturday (Aug. 31) at TwispWorks. Volunteers will ask for donations. All proceeds will go to support Teen Center activities.
Hudson’s Bay re-enactment
The Fort Okanogan Interpretive Center will present a Hudson’s Bay Company re-enactment, including firing of flintlock rifles and preparation of pemmican, on Sept. 8 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. The free event will be at 14370 Highway 17, near Brewster. For more information, call (509) 689-6665.
