Dave Acheson of the Methow Cycle and Sport/Blue Star Coffee Cycling Team competed in the Capitol Forest Classic Super D near Olympia last Sunday. He finished seventh out of 14 in the Sport Men 40-49 age group. The course featured a mix of some 300 feet of climbing and 2,100 feet of descent. Acheson’s time of 25 minutes, 17 seconds for the 5-mile course was about a minute short of a podium spot.
